Remembering Pierre-Auguste Renoir

Our friend Dipak from BEC wanted to share the paintings to remember him and his artwork.

RENOIR
1841-1919

More than any other great Artist, Auguste Renoir Celebrates the sheer joy of being alive. Apart from a few early works painted with the sombre tastes of the Salon jury in mind, Renoir’s art is a Sunshine Art.
It is filled with bright colours, rich textures, sunny places and people who are either actively enjoying themselves or, as with so many of his nudes, taking a quiet, sensual pleasure in merely existing.
He also took a resolutely no-nonsense attitude towards Artistic issues, dismissing all dogmas, including those of fellow impressionists.
However, his development was far from straightforward or unpremeditated, although it was conditioned by his delight in the colour and beauty of the world; and if this put limits on the scope of an artist,
Within those limits, he reigned supreme

And in my case, he is reigning supreme along with his contemporary close friends, Alfred Sisley and Monet.

I copied some of his exceptional paintings in my own way to introduce them to my loving friends.
