Beyond Twilight
is there only dusk and darkness
without any hope, only despair?
or there is light,
maybe distant and dim,
somewhere in the wilderness
beyond my sight!
Twinkling fireflies
dancing in the darkness of night,
millions of shining stars
and milkyways
in the vastness of dark sky
mostly many light years away
sending me rays of light
soft and gentle
beyond the twilight!
Flickering flame of the diya
in the corner Puja room,
or a ray of light that emerges
from the core of darkness,
when i close my eyes
in meditation
and look deep inside
within my mind
to illuminate the pathway
in the darkness beyond twilight!
Let all these and many more
of such lights be there
to guide me through
with hope not despair
in the dusk and darkness
beyond twilight!!!
