Winds of the World and My Love

Author: Hillol Ray | Posted on: 30th, May, 2021

Splendor of love plagued since my birth,
And it made me a huggable lover for sure-
Even though my heart down the darkest hours
Sensed crucial pain and surprise so hard to cure!
In brooding nights, I dreamt star of affection,
And preached the praise of love on my own-
While the secrets of Victoria knelt, as I calmly felt,
And the seeds of inenarrable joy were neatly sown!
The real cause of love’s insurgence keeps me young,
And makes me swing vibrant banner of love’s flame-
Out of winds of the world, stretching and screaming,
And no one dares me to ask quietly why don’t I blame?
The hard crust of the raisin breads in the morning,
And the shadows around the table lamps at night-
Radiate my love, like the mating dove,

To fly my wings in a rush out of sight!
Dreaming of rhyme that I drink under sleepy moon,
And the whispering rainbows in the comet’s hair-
Are my favorite lovers, like tears at every noon,
And they smooth away my pains I cannot share!
The old woolen socks in the cold of winter days,
And the heaps of clouds sailing freely in the sky-
Crawl in to couch the madness of love in my heart,
And unsung beauty remains invisible to passersby!
Footprints in the dew, with exception of only a few,
Along with sparkling water swirling down the drain-
Awake love in my hubs with voices in laughter,
And bring the mental peace in my restless brain!
Rain-washed stone, descending from the black hills,
And the dulling edge of twirling foam from the sea-
Drown me in love within twinkling of an eye,
But laminate along the ways to kiss diversity!
Good smells of old clothes, interned in tiny wardrobes,

And fragrance inherited from a handshake with a friend-
Linger in my passionate heart with aroma of love,
And bring a cavalcade of emotions in a new trend!
The color of saffron and flavor of cinnamon tantalize passion,
And I love to carry them through my heaven’s gate of death-
They will certainly sing and dance at every chance they get,
After I breathe winds of the world and exhale my last breath!!
