Positive Impacts of Covid-19 All Over The World

Author: BIBHAS ROY | Posted on: 4th, Jun, 2021

A pandemic is defined as “an epidemic occurring worldwide, or over a very wide area, crossing international boundaries and usually affecting a large number of people”.

The year 2019 was going on as just a year like previous years, but at the end of that year, an acute respiratory infection of unknown origin was first reported in December, 2019, in Wuhan, China, called novel coronavirus infected pneumonia (NCIP). On February 11, 2020, WHO named the novel disease as Corona Virus Disease 2019 (COVID-19). And then within the month of February this coronavirus had spread throughout all of the nations in the world. This was the beginning of a new era first time in 21st century of Pandemic.

At the beginning of this pandemic we humans didn’t have any medicine/vaccine to save human life. But we had to do to save our lives from this coronavirus. So ahead of us was a great work to prevent ourselves during this pandemic. Then the immediate research of our brave doctors and scientists, found out that maintaining a certain distance or the isolation of human away from each human would stop the enormous number of spreading of the coronavirus. That’s why all the nation’s leader took the very hard decision to close their country’s border to away from other nations and even closed all other intra country activities, this is called Lockdown. Through this lockdown all gathering was suspended, physically appearance inside an office or school, college had been suspended, and even all kind of travelling, sports, shopping mall, stores, small to big businesses etc. were suspended. The aim of this lockdown was and still now to slow down the pace of coronavirus spreading. Initially it seems like suddenly the human evolution of the earth just stopped for an infinite time.

Everywhere in the world just a negative vibe waving through human life. People all around the world were depressed due to this pandemic.

In spite of the negative aspects of coronavirus pandemic on our earth, the coronavirus crises brought a positive impact on the natural environment. Not only the nature was healing but human life also understands the another approach of living their life. So all of the positive vibes those evolving were, —

Due to lockdown people could not go for work, school, college or elsewhere so that using of car was down, all the factories were shut down which mean the carbon emission was decaying exponentially. That’s why air pollution got reduced drastically worldwide even a noticeable decline in greenhouse gases emission and purity of air getting increased day by day.

In these pure air various kind of birds even those birds which were rare on our earth flying freely.

The largest hole in the ozone layer over the Arctic region has closed in.

Human activity on sea and river water were reduced, also the water pollution was reduced. So that various kind of aquatic animals were hanging freely everywhere in these less crowded and less polluted water.

Lockdown brought all the family members and closest or dearest one together. So that

they spent a quality time with their family.

Many countries and people understood the importance of internet during the lockdown.

Etc.

After all of the above discussion we can conclude that, —

COVID-19 originated from Wuhan city of China and then spread almost all over the world and called the global pandemic. Millions of people were died in these pandemic, many people lost their closed one, jobs, hopes and many more that we can’t express through our words. Obviously there were negative vibes all around the world but still following social distancing, lockdown and restricted human interaction with nature proved to be a blessing for nature and environment during the crises. Even human life also understands the another approach of living their life. And after all of these we could see that in a period of just two to three months of lockdown has been the recovery of nature. This is a signal for all of us to understand and react. Govt. and policy makers must take necessary steps to take care about this healing process that does not become a temporary one. There is a need for rigorous study and research on the effect of implementation of such short term lockdown as an alternative measure for pollution reduction and its effect on economy.
