Lilya and Maxim

Author: Sunil Ghose | Posted on: 27th, Jan, 2023

Lilya was endowed with an indescribable beauty that can only be explained as a God-given gift and be compared with a floating star in the northern sky on a beautiful spring night.
She was like the midnight Moon whose gloriously lighted shine enlighten the hearts and desires of men and women alike to get a glimpse of her beautiful body moving like a ballerina across the world. It reminds me of a description of Radha walking by Krishna’s house: “Dhala Dhala Kancha Angero Laboni Abani Bohia Jai.” (A dancing beauty decorated with freshly-cut colorful flowers walking by).
Lilya hails from a neighborhood where not a single soul passing by her not noticing her unbelievable beauty. The enchanted men are so mesmerized that they forget their way and destination.
Lilya and her beauty and grace were so spectacular that even people from far far away were attracted including thousands of princes far away from her neighborhood know the story of her love affairs with Maxim. All of them were madly desirous of falling in love with her. But not a single soul was successful to put her on the thrones of their dream. But only Maxim, the son of the Head of the Arabian country Yemen, succeeded easily. Only Maxim had the limit-less and easy access into the heart of Lilya
Lilya’s father, who was the Chief of a Persian tribe, did not have a good relation with the Head of Yemen. That caused a problem for Lilya in reaching Maxim.

However, on a special day of celebration, the two families got together putting aside all their differences in hatred, jealousy, and anger.
On such a memorable occasion, Lilya met Maxim. But only their eyes could meet from a distance. Even without any close contact, Lilya and Maxim fell deeply in love at first sight and their hearts and minds created a romantic sensation in their minds and touch-senstive parts of their bodies.
It was an astonishing moment. It turned everything upside-down. It brought a complete strange change in Maxim’s body and mind and changed him completely. He started avoiding all his favorite enjoyments and gossiping with friends, participating in sports, etc. which were very attractive to him. He even stopped talking with anyone. From then on, loneliness, isolation, and thinking within himself with head down became his desireous times. No interest even in beautiful young girls. All his thoughts are surrounded around Lilya.

On the other side, Lilya’s thoughts were just like Maxim’s. All her thoughts were surrounding Maxim. She had no interest in worldly affairs. To help overcome her melancholy and depressive mind, one of her friends took her to a beautiful water fall on a bright Moon-lit night on the top of the hill by the fall. But at this terrible state of mind, Lilya could not maintain her composure. She also lost control over her body and mind and lost consciousness. Her unconscious body started rolling down the hill and landed at the bottom of the hill.
She died instantly.
Maxim continued crying and starded looking for Lilya. He was getting too tired looking for Lilya. He got dazed and lost all his strength while searching for Lilya. After a while he bumped and fell on Lilya’s dead body.
