When my children were little they used to bring their handmade items from school as gifts on every Mother’s Day. Here are some pictures of one of those treasured items.
MY PRECIOUS GIFT
All the little fingerprints-
On the tabletops, doors and the wall;
With soap, cleanser, and cloth,
I was able to mark off all.
But this tiny handprint on a black rock-
That you made at school and gave me on Mother’s day;
So many years passed by yet, my memory,
And these precious prints didn’t fade away.
