Wonder World

Author: Kamal Acharyya | Posted on: 8th, Mar, 2025

I am amazed at this world’s mysteries,
everywhere i look, it is filled with wonders!

In this universe spread over infinite space
covering thousands and thousands of light years,
there is an insignificant galaxy called Milky Way
with innumerable stars, dust, and gas in spirals,
in which our solar system is just a tiny part with
the sun at its centre, surrounded by a few
planets and satellites gravitationally bound
and on one of those planets our earth is found!

As if like a miracle over a few billion years
life has evolved on our mother Earth,
with the coming together of sunlight, water, and air
under unique conditions in an extraordinary way;
as long as the sun shines bright and clear,
life will thrive on earth nurtured by nature forever;
so, every morning when the sun rises anew,
i bow to the majesty of creation, incredible and true!

We all know, that a single apple normally contains only
a few seeds, which we can easily count,
yet countless apples can grow from one seed,
mystery behind that process, who knows?
mother nature is productive beyond measure,
from a tiny particle to infinite objects she treasures;
probably there lies the secret of the mystery of creation
for which the wise men, yet, don’t have any explanation!

Amazing nature has its own creation rules,
limiting the number of each species –
fish, reptiles, insects, birds, and mules,
so that they can coexist on this earth easily;
but why for humans doesn’t this rule apply?
Why is there no limit to how many they multiply?

on the contrary, I’m puzzled at the rule which
allows humans to destroy their kind!
The majesty and mysteries of infinite creations
will never cease to amaze us, the ever-ignorants,
leaving us with wrong perceptions and
endless unanswered questions!!
